FLIGHTLINE SOLUTIONS
Part 91 management

Part 91 aircraft management, in plain English.

If you own an aircraft and someone's offered to 'manage' it, here's what that actually means under FAR Part 91 — what FlightLine Solutions takes on, and what stays with you.

Who controls what

You — the owner

You keep operational control of your aircraft as the operator under Part 91. The final say on schedule, crew, maintenance decisions, and where it flies stays with you. It's your airplane.

FlightLine — your manager

We handle the work around the flying: administration, records, maintenance oversight, crew, trip support, vendors, and your monthly report. We act on your behalf — we don't operate the aircraft.

A Part 135 carrier — for charter only

When you charter, a certificated Part 135 carrier operates that flight and holds operational control of it. FlightLine arranges it as a broker — never as the carrier.

You stay the operator

Under FAR Part 91, the owner operates the aircraft and keeps operational control. That doesn't change with management. FlightLine works on your behalf; the authority over the aircraft stays with you. It's your airplane, run your way.

Records and compliance, kept current

FAA registration, airworthiness records, and the maintenance-tracking program are kept current and to regulatory standard, so the aircraft stays legal and airworthy — and you're never scrambling to assemble paperwork before an inspection.

Maintenance oversight

We coordinate scheduled inspections and any discrepancies with established, reputable maintenance providers, and oversee the work on quality, timeline, and cost on your behalf.

Crew administration

Recruiting, vetting, and onboarding pilots; training scheduling and currency tracking; duty and rest tracking; and payroll — for contract or employee crew, as the operation calls for.

Trip support

Scheduling, flight-planning coordination, catering, ground transportation, and hangar and fuel arrangements — the logistics around each trip, handled so the day runs smoothly.

One monthly operating report

Flight activity, maintenance status, upcoming items, and where the budget stands — consolidated into a single monthly summary, coordinated through one point of contact who knows your aircraft.

What Part 91 management is not

FlightLine is not a direct air carrier and does not take operational control of your aircraft. When charter makes sense to offset cost, it's arranged through independent, certificated Part 135 carriers who operate those flights.
